What is Iqra’s Kitchen, and what services do you offer?

What kind of orders do you accept?
We only accept catering-sized orders. That means quarter tray, half tray, or full tray — no individual plates or small meal portions.
How far in advance should I place my order?
For regular orders, at least 24 hours in advance. For orders over $150, a Minimum of 3 days’ notice is required. This helps us ensure the food is fresh and made to perfection.
Do you freeze your meat or ingredients?
Never. We buy fresh meat for every order. Nothing is frozen. This is what sets us apart from most catering services.
Do you deliver?
Yes! We deliver to all of Suffolk and Nassau County for a flat fee of $20. Pickup is also available upon request.
Where is the food prepared?
We are a home-based catering business, but for larger orders or special events, we also utilize a licensed commercial kitchen to ensure top-notch hygiene and capacity.
What is your payment policy?
For any order $100 or more, a 30% advance deposit is required. Full payment is due before delivery or at pickup. We accept Cash, Zelle, and other digital payments (please ask for details).
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, but Cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance will get a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of delivery or pickup are non-refundable, as fresh ingredients have already been purchased.
What if I have food allergies?
Let us know when you place your order. While we take precautions, our kitchen does handle nuts, dairy, wheat, and other allergens.
How do I determine the correct amount of food to order?
We’ll help you estimate based on the number of guests. Each tray has standard serving sizes.
Do prices or menu items ever change?
Yes, occasionally. Prices and items are subject to change based on seasonal availability or market rates; however, we will confirm details before finalizing your order.
Will my information be kept private?
Absolutely. We never share or sell your information. Any feedback or photos used for marketing will always be with your permission.
